As many of you have heard by now, the "Petition the White House" web site has been very active since the election.  Many petitions have been related to secession of which I have my doubts would actually occur although the volume of petitions and numbers of signers may have a positive effect on the administration...

I did notice a new petition posted today:

"Base income tax rates on the political affiliation of the tax payer"


Sounds like the perfect compromise position to me...  Those who claim to want higher taxes can pay them, and those who do not, will not.
